In a post to accompany the announcement, which now replaces the Felmyst forum and website, Gummy52 said the server was the culmination of four years of work. Gummy52 also said that a muscular dystrophy disease prevents him moving to another country as "an alternative option to host the server."
The issue is thought to be related to the number of people that have suddenly become interested in the old server. The plan was to have an intimate group of players playing a traditional version of the game, but it isn't happening. Gummy52 stated that he's not willing to turn over the server to another party because it has been attracting more public attention to the server, "the market to wrongfully make money from this kind of thing is just too lucrative to release it to anyone on a whim."
"I am disappointed to say that things did not go as I had hoped, but I don't think I'd change any of the decisions I took," he continued. "I decided to bet on the possibility of having us restrict the servers to 3k , and also have a thriving community.
